Thank you for visiting with The Dixie Sonlighters. We hope that something you see or hear will bless you. Our ministry has been going for 26 years this year. We started singing in a lot of nursing homes. Christine Simons promised the Lord when he healed her of cancer that she would go and carry his word. We now do a mix of Southern, Bluegrass, and Country Gospel. We hope that our music will uplift and encourage your heart to keep walking in the light of the Lord.

We are looking for more Churches that can book us for sings. If you or someone you know books for a church contact us and we will be glad to sing at your church we have a Demo CD if needed.

Getting Ready

As you all know we are planin' our 4th annual peanut boil on Sept.13-14th. We are all excited bout that. We gonna have so much fun I can't wait. Our family and friends are all coming. We have advertised so much around here and we are sure to have a huge turn out.
   Just remember that if it wasn't Jesus we wouldn't be here and I hope that everyone who comes to our site and reads everything on here gets a blessing. We all in this group work really hard to live each and everyday for God cause none of us eva know when today will be our last.
   You know it's hard to live your life right. No one has to tell you that cause I'm pretty sure we've all made our share of mistakes, but it's up to us to ask for forgiveness. People will come against you in every way they can find. Don't let'em get the best of ya, don't let them see you fall. Take it to the Lord in prayer. That's what we need to do on a daily basic is pray. Pray for those who is against you don't fight back with them. Two wrongs don't make it right.
   Well Uncle Ricky finally found a pot big enuff to cook the p-nuts in LOL. Yall this thing is huge. They say this thing will hold up to like 500 gallons of water. This thing is huge. So we is gonna have us some p-nuts. HAHAHAHA.
Well I guess I'll let yall go for now. I'll talk at atcha laterz..
