Any thing give will be used to carry the Word of God. The cost of fuel is high but we have never charged for a service
we will go anywhere we can. We accept love offerings, sell Cd's, and other products. This and our jobs are
how we support the group in its travels.

Welcome to our web site!
Thank you for visiting with The Dixie Sonlighters.
We hope that something you see or hear will bless you. Our ministry has been going for 26 years this year.
We started singing in a lot of nursing homes. Christine Simons promised the Lord when he healed her of cancer that she
would go and carry his word. We now do a mix of Southern, Bluegrass, and Country Gospel. We hope that our music
will uplift and encourage your heart to keep walking in the light of the Lord.
We are looking for more Churches
that can book us for sings. If you or someone you know books for a church contact us and we will be glad to sing at
your church we have a Demo CD if needed.

Watch night and Alabama trip
hey everyone hope everyone had a good Christmas and a happy new year... as for us we had a blast. we started out in danielsville Ga. for watch night .there was the Stephen Sisters and Paul Whitfield
and us the Dixie sonlighters. The song service was great and we always pray the old year out and the new year in . we had
two souls saved before midnight and 1 saved after midnight. so we got a soul saved already for 2009. praise god. we are nothing
with out God that's what I tell people all of the time and it's the truth. After we left Danielsville we
left to go to Alabama and man did we ever have a great time. We are good friends with the group Tri-City Quartet. So we went
to stay at their home with them. you think you know people just by seeing them a few times a year but when you are invited
to go and be with them at their home you see them in a different way. Let me say this right now what you see when you see
these people out singing or at the store whatever, they are the same at home as well. we was honored to be asked to come to
Jamie's birthday bash and be a part of that. Jamie Thank you for asking us. i know yall read my writtings
and stuff and i joke and cut up but let me be real with yall for a min.
while we were in Alabama we
had a great time we all did but you know something i (sandy) had a really really great time. let me tell yall Rickey , Christine
and myself was in the bus talking and cutting up like we always are. and I told them that i was so glad that God saved my
soul. because if it had not been for God saving me i would have never been able to be apart of our group and going to Alabama
being with Mrs. Pat , Mr. Jay , Trish, Jamie and Brittany was very humbling for me. because i am not worthy of anything that
God does for us. I was able to get to know each and everyone of them on a very personal level. Brittany I love you girl lol
and that's all ima say about you.lol...Jamie i can't say enough, yall Jamie sent us a email and told
us that they were looking forward to us coming and being with them and that he had found us a church to go to on Sunday morning
to try and help us out on fuel a love offering is what we call it. but yeah there's a but, the next day Jamie
sent us another email,,,, I read the email and i could feel the sadness in Jamie's heart as he typed that e-mail.
he told us that things fell through and he didn't have a church for us and that he could understand if we didn't want
to come because of money and things like that./ that it would cost us so much in fuel and eats and all. well i sent Jamie
a e-mail back and I told him not to worry that God would make a way for it all to work out. I even told Jamie if i had to
pawn my tires off my single wide trailer we was coming and thats just what we did.....hahahahahah no i didn't have to
pawn my tires but GOD did make a way just like he always does when we humble ourselves before him. Mrs. Pat, thank
you for everything. Yall Mrs. Pat is the nicest lady you could ever meet. Yall she got up every morning and cooked us breakfast.
i mean a full course meal eggs, bacon grits and biscuits homemade and yall them was some pretty biscut too. yall know my mom
burns everything and her biscut you have to cut the bottom off and eat the tops. lol. i love you moma. but no yall mrs. pat
was great. Mr. Jay, well ima be nice to bro. jay, cause he was sick and couldn't hardly talk the whole time we were
there..I called Bro.Jay on Wednesday to let him know we were going to be there Thursday and he was just like he always
is jokin and cutting up and all and i was having a hard time cause i was so sick i couldn't talk all that great and yes
he was picking on me fer it too. well i called Thursday to let him know we were in Atlanta on our way and Mrs. Pat answered
the phone and said well hun hold on a second and let me get him for ya. then she says well i can give you the directions
cause Jay can't talk today. lol. I told bro. ay that i was sorry he was sick you know trying to be nice. and he said well
to tell you the truth i got it from you. man i felt bad but was a good sport bout it all. anyway to get on with
it we went to Jamie and Brittany's church Saturday and had a great time helping put up birthday decorations with them
for Aaron's b-day anit that something daddy and son's b-day the same day. that night we was part of Jamie's b-day
bash. and then Sunday morning Jamie and Brittany and Aaron rode with us to the church in Winston GA. And my heart was
sad cause i didn't wanna say bye. but that time came and it was easy but when they left out the church the tears just
came running. Tri-City we love yall and thank you for letting us be apart of your family and our love runs deep for
you guys thanks yall again yall will never know how much i love yall but one-day yall will. love ,
